    Record ProRes RAW

    Unlock the true potential of your RAW cinema camera with the Shogun Inferno. Preserve your sensor’s pristine pixels in ProRes RAW at up to 5.7kp30, 4kp120 DCI/UHD and 2kp240 DCI/HD. CDNG supports up to 4kp30 DCI. Inferno is compatible with Sony FS series, Canon C300MKII/C500 or Panasonic EVA-1/Varicam LT.

    10-bit ProRes/DNxHR up to 4Kp60

    Video from any camera or digital video source can be captured via SDI or HDMI. Record up to 10-bit 4:2:2 in ProRes or DNxHR codecs at 4Kp60 or 2Kp240, depending on the camera’s capability.

    The depth and quality of the image is preserved with data rates of up to 1.8Gbs, 220MB/s.

    Bright, vibrant HDR images anywhere

    The 7” 1920x1200 1500nit high bright HDR display allows you to see your images with unparalleled accuracy. Nail focus and exposure, even outside in daylight. The AtomHDR panel shows 10+ stops of HDR resolved in real time from RAW/Log/PQ/HLG sources.

    Balanced XLR monitor & record

    Eliminate the need for a separate audio recorder. Add 48V stereo mics via the balanced XLR breakout cable. Select Mic or Line input levels, record up to 12 channels of digital audio from HDMI or SDI. Monitor selected stereo via the 3.5mm headphone jack. There are dedicated meters, gain controls and adjustments for frame delay.

    Professional monitoring tool

    Shogun Inferno has extensive monitoring tools, including custom 3D LUTs, false color, peaking, movable 1-1 and 2-1 pixel magnification, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope. You can even calibrate for color accuracy.

    Portable Playback Deck

    The ultimate battery-powered playback deck, review and playout footage anywhere - scrub through, jog frame-by-frame and even watch back in slow motion. Metadata tag footage as you go to mark favorites, rejects and more. Bring your footage into your timeline and immediately filter your tags.

    Quad SDI & HDMI 2.0 In/Out

    Seamlessly connect any SDI or HDMI device for monitoring and recording. Cross convert between HDMI 2.0 and 1.5G/3G/6G/12G/Quadlink SDI in almost any combination and eliminate the need for specialist converters.

    Edit HDR in the field

    After shooting, immediately feed HDR into your Shogun directly from your Final Cut Pro X timeline using an I/O box for mobile HDR grading. We support any NLE or Grading suite that support our file formats - basically all of them!
